Action taken against erring airlines, employees by DGCA

New Delhi: Civil aviation regulator DGCA has found 13 cases of violation of rules by various airlines and 283 cases of airline employees flouting norms and Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR) since 2009 and has taken action against them, Lok Sabha was informed today.
"There have been instances of violation of norms or CAR by various airlines. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken administrative action relating to enforcement provisions during the last three years and the current year," Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.
