New Delhi: CISF has ordered an inquiry into the Mumbai international airport incident where two of its personnel were arrested for their alleged involvement in a gold smuggling racket. The paramilitary force is looking to ascertain the full facts of the case and also the possible criminal involvement of its other personnel in the incident. Two CISF officials stationed at the Mumbai airport were among five persons arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence yesterday for their alleged involvement in a gold smuggling racket. Over 10 kg of gold worth Rs three crore was seized from the five men. "An inquiry has been ordered into the entire incident and the two troopers arrested by DRI have been suspended pending the inquiry and investigation," CISF Deputy Inspector General (Operations and Intelligence) Jaideep Prasad told PTI.
