Cops question aide whose cell phones Gopal Goyal Kanda used to call Geetika Sharma

New Delhi: New Delhi: Police on Wednesday questioned a close aide of Gopal Goyal Kanda, whose cellphones were allegedly used by the absconding Haryana politician to call former MDLR Airlines airhostess Geetika Sharma.
The call records of Geetika, who committed suicide on Sunday leaving behind a note accusing Kanda of “ruining” here, led police to three mobile phone numbers registered in the name of Mandeep Singh, an executive of Kanda’s now defunct MDLR Airlines.
Mandeep, sources in Haryana said, is among Kanda’s most trusted men. He is the son of a truck driver, has a small house in Namdhari locality in Kanda’s political base Sirsa, and started out being Kanda’s driver in Sirsa. He has been working at MDLR’s office in Gurgaon for the past 10 years. Mandeep’s cousin Meera and father Randhir Singh have reached Delhi, sources said. Mandeep’s two younger sisters are at his home in Sirsa
