DVOR installation to ensure safe and timely landing of flights: Manish Tewari

Ludhiana: After the installation of the Doppler VHF Omni directional Radio Range (DVOR) at the Ludhiana Airport the flights to and from here are all set to be on time.
DVOR was recently installed at the airport at a cost of Rs 4 crores at the continued persistence by the local MP and National Spokesperson of the Congress Manish Tewari.
Tewari disclosed that the Airport Authority of India had already organised the trial flights to check the visibility which has now been brought down from 5 kms to 2 kms. He said, Ludhiana has now come under the international flying map after the installation of the DVOR.
