New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday rejected the anticipatory bail application of former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda in the ex-airhostess Geetika Sharma's suicide case. Kanda had sought bail after the police declared him absconding. Six police teams are on the lookout for him. Kanda's homes in Delhi and Sirsa were raided earlier on Thursday. His lawyer insists that there is no evidence that Kanda instigated Geetika to commit suicide.
Kanda, who is accused of abetment to suicide and criminal intimidation, has refused to appear for questioning before the Delhi Police which carried out searches at his residence and office in Sirsa in Haryana besides his recently launched MDK International School, a day after they raided his farmhouse and hotel.
