Jaipur: A high alert was sounded at Jaipur airport by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the city police on Sunday in the wake of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) alert on a possible hijack plan at four probable spots in the country, including Jaipur. In fact, Airports Authority of India (AAI) Jaipur has put a stop till August 20 to issuing of visitor's passes that give access to the reception of the airport. In its advisory the IB referred to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and former Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) members and also gave names of seven suspects to the state police agencies, which included two pilots and two couples from Ahmedabad.
