Jet Airways, IndiGo, GoAir stop ticket booking to Patna

Mumbai: The Civil Aviation Department of Bihar recently said that it has not received any reply from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) with regard to the revised length of the runway at Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport, Patna. "We had sent a letter to the DGCA on August 3, 2012 about the removal of obstructions identified by the Airports Authority of India (AAI)," Ravikant, Principal Secretary, Cabinet Co-ordination and State Civil Aviation Department, was quoted as saying in a report by The Times of India.
