Itanagar: Maharashtra government will make available chartered aircraft to take students of Northeast back to educational institutions in Pune or Mumbai from Guwahati.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan told a goodwill team from Arunachal Pradesh, led by MP Takan Sanjoy, yesterday that concessional chartered flights would be offered to students willing to go back.
In a statement, Sanjoy quoted Chavan as saying, "If state governments send written requisitions, officials will be ready to receive students at airports to escort them to their institutions with full security."
