Now, threat to blow up Patna airport

Patna: A call threatening to blow up the Jaiprakash Narayan International airport here within two hours was received at the airport director's official landline number on Thursday afternoon. The call came at 4.30pm.
Immediately, airport director Arvind Dubey contacted the senior superintendent of police, Patna, Amrit Raj, who rushed a police team to the airport. The SSP said, "Police immediately reached the airport along with a bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs. Security in the adjoining areas has been beefed up." According to police sources, the sim card used by the caller was purchased with the fake ID of a Special Police Officer (SPO) working for the state police.
