One in every 5 flights got delayed in July

Mumbai: One in every five flights operating from Mumbai airport was delayed in July due to several reasons including air congestion, operation and technical problems.
The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport which handles around 29 million passengers a year is considered to be one of the busiest airports in Asia.
As per records, a total of 7,093 flights operated from Mumbai airport in July, out of which, 995 were delayed.
Indigo Airlines had the best on-time performance (OTP) among all airlines as it topped with 90%. Indigo was followed by GoAir, Jet Airways and Jetlite.
