Dehradun: Indian Army helicopters on Thursday dropped relief materials in flood-hit areas of Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district.
The relief operations continued in the district amid reports that a cloud burst occurred in Mori area of Uttarkashi on Wednesday.
Confirming the cloud burst, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna said MI-16 and MI-17 choppers of the Army were dropping the relief materials in the flood-hit areas.
He said the district administrators were working on collecting reports on any loss of life and property in the area due to the calamity.
