Mumbai: Brokerage firm Transglobal Securities today offloaded more than 74 lakh shares of ailing Kingfisher Airlines for about Rs 7.43 crore.
Transglobal Securities sold 74,52,261 at Rs 9.98 apiece valuing the deal at over Rs 7.44 crore, according to information available with the National Stock Exchange. Shares of the debt-laden airliner climbed 2.68 per cent to close at Rs 9.97 on the BSE.
On August 10, another entity LKP Merchant Financing had sold 93.6 lakh shares of the airline for over Rs 7 crore. This firm, so far this month, has offloaded shares worth Rs 20 crore.
