We want to grow step-by-step and deliver profits: GoAir CEO

Go Airlines (India) CEO, Giorgio de Roni, has lined up a slew of measures to make the airline a major player in the country. In an interview with Business Line, he explains how he plans to achieve it.
GoAir is considered more of a “blink and miss” airline and has never been a serious player in the airline industry.
GoAir is definitely a small player in the Indian aviation sector but with a solid growth path and a strong vision for the future. We have signed one of the largest deals for aircraft recently with an order of 72 A320s NEOs (new engine options) to be delivered between 2016 and 2020.
Meanwhile, we have been receiving between three and four aircraft a year. That is why we are increasing our presence in south India and in Bangalore in particular.
