Bhadra staff brush off aviation storm

Chennai: Most of the cargo handling staff attached to ground handling service provider Bhadra International remained impervious to the storm raised by Union MInister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh.
When contacted, most of them shrugged it off as mere bureaucracy and were surprised to hear the news. “It is surprising to hear that the Minister is finding problems with our company’s contract now. Anyway, we are merely cargo handlers with a uniform, so our work will always go on,” shrugged a senior cargo loader working for the company.
Even as reports began to circulate about how Singh had called for the CBI to initiate a probe against Bhadra’s top brass, besides suspending six Airports Authority of India (AAI) top guns, it was just another regular day for the loaders of Bhadra.
