New Delhi: Those heading to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, or any of the four other major cities of the country for work or a short trip, may now have their transport worries solved.
Carzonrent’s new service allows travellers to pick up a self-driven car from the airport on arrival and return it to the same point at departure. Chargeable on a per day basis, a Maruti Swift would cost Rs 800 a day, while a Volkswagen Vento sedan would be for Rs 1,200.
“We have a fleet of 400 self-drive cars at airport locations now for customers to pick and drop later. This is cheaper by about 50 per cent than chauffeur-driven cars kept for the whole day,” said Carzonrent’s CEO & MD, Rajiv Vij.
