'Repair work on Airport line expected to be over in October'

New Delhi: Repair work on the Airport Metro Line, whose operations were stalled due to defects, would be over by October end, Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath today said.
"We are expecting the repair work on the Airport Metro Express Line to be completed by the end of October," he told reporters while speaking on the sidelines of a conference on 'Urban Infrastructure - PPP for Better Public Service' here.
The Airport line is the first PPP or Public Private Project in the Metro segment in the country.
Operations on the Airport metro line were halted after Delhi Airport Metro Express Private Limited raised concerns over defects in the civil structure of the metro line
