World-class amenities at Madhya Pradesh airport soon

Indore: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has decided to introduce two international style amenities- a new terminus and cargo facility at the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport.
Expansion plan is underway for constructing six apron bays, six parking bays and an isolation bay at the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport for according it a functional international status. Flights for Haj pilgrims have, however, been operating from Indore to Jeddah since 2008.
Earlier, the aerodrome had only one terminal. At present, the expansion of its runway has been completed. Plan to expand it further for easy landing take off of larger crafts flying on the international sector is on the cards.
