Pathanamthitta: The first commercial flight will land at the proposed private international airport at Aranmula in December, 2014, and the KGS Aranmula Greenfield International Airport Limited has chalked out an action plan to complete the project in a time-bound manner, said P.T. Nandakumar, executive director of the company.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Mr Nandakumar said the company has opened its project office in Aranmula in September and the project would be completed with people’s participation.
Though the proposed private airport is a Rs 2,000-crore project, no family would be evicted in the name of it and all other propaganda in this regard were baseless, said Mr Nandakumar.
