Civil aviation ministry removes derogatory graffiti at Thiruvananthapuram Airport

New Delhi: The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has acted promptly on a complaint forwarded by the cultural cell of the Maharashtra Congress for removing derogatory comments scribbled against women political lLeaders on the walls of the gents rest room at the Thiruvananthapuram Airport.
Responding to a letter sent to it by Mr. Guru Nair, Vice Chairman, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (Cultural Cell) on the issue, Dr. A.P. Singh, an official in the office of the Minister of Civil Aviation, Ajit Singh, said that the objectionable comments had been removed and that staff posted at the airport had been sensitized to be more vigilant and expedient in dealing with su ch complaints.
