Mangalore: A passenger who landed at Bajpe airport allegedly assaulted a customs officer during checking here on Monday November 5.
The passenger had landed by the Air India Express flight from Dubai which reached Bajpe airport at 6.20 am.
The passenger is said to have quarrelled with the customs officer Rakesh and finally assaulted him.Sources said that the passenger was in a drunken stupor and behaved arrogantly, picking up a quarrel with the officer.However, no case has been registered at Bajpe police station so far.
