New Delhi: Air India Friday revised its domestic group booking procedures to boost passenger traffic in the festive and New Year season.
"The new policy would be applicable from Dec 1, 2012. Tour operator, travel agent and individuals will have to send written requests to regional station manager's office for group bookings," a senior Air India official said.
According to the official, while a minimum group booking size has been pegged at 10 passengers, there is no maximum limit size for the group bookings.
Meanwhile, the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), who are likely to benefit most out of the new policy revision, welcomed the move.
