Manama: Bahrain Air yesterday resumed its flight to Thiruvananthapuram in the Indian state of Kerala after a landing rights dispute was resolved.
The airline finally received permission from the Indian authorities to restart operations on the route following a week of negotiations.
Flights were affected and passengers were stranded in Bahrain last Saturday after a dispute forced the airline to ground flights.
A delegation from the carrier and Bahrain's Civil Aviation Affairs earlier flew to India to resolve the issue.
