Raipur: President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday inaugurated a new integrated terminal of Swami Vivekanand Airport at Raipur and dedicated it to the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, he wished the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India all success in their endeavours for building state-of-the-art infrastructure in the country.
The President said that it is of critical importance that airports are built across India that conform to international standards and are safe, efficient and comfortable as well as convenient to passengers.
"Airports serve as gateways to the country. They are economic magnets, which help further development and growth of the region where they are located," said the president.
