Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government will start an air courier service from Kargil to Jammu and Srinagar from December 5 after heavy snowfall has led to the closure of Srinagar-Kargil road.
"In view of closure of Srinagar-Kargil road due to snow fall at Zojila, the government has made arrangements for Kargil Courier Service between Srinagar and Kargil from December 5," an official spokesperson said today.
