Lucknow: Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh will unveil the statue of his father and former prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh at Lucknow’s Amausi international airport, which is named after him, on Sunday.
December 23 is the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh. Accompanied by his son and Rashtriya Lok Dal general secretary Jayant Chaudhary, Ajit Singh will also address party workers there. Before coming to Lucknow, he will garland the photograph of Chaudhary Charan Singh in the Central Hall of Parliament and attend a prayer meeting at Kisan Ghat in Delhi.
