CM’s tour to be ‘grounded’?

Visakhapatnam: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's proposed three-day Indiramma Baata from December 17 in the district appears to have run into rough weather with Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) authorities reportedly declining permission for the use of a chopper due to bad weather conditions.
The DGCA authorities have reportedly asked the district administration to opt for a road route rather than an aerial one and advised the use of chopper only on the return journey, that too in broad daylight and clear sky condition.
On the other hand, the district police are apprehensive about the chief minister taking the road route and have reportedly apprised the district authorities that it may not be safe for a VVIP travel, considering the Maoist factor.
