DGCA may not act on KFA licence application

New Delhi: Kingfisher Airlines has applied to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to extend its licence. Kingfisher's licence was suspended in October-end and expires on December 31.
However, DGCA sources said they would not act on this application because it is not backed by any revival plans, proof of funding and agreements with employees, airports , oil companies. DGCA also wants other vendors (like airport operators) to say that they will allow the airline to operate flights without disruptions , as it owes each one of them hundreds of crores.
