Bangalore: In an operation that was shrouded in secrecy, a team from the Kochi unit of the CBI visited the city on Monday and arrested K.S. Chandrasekhar, former Deputy Commissioner of Customs, in connection with a misappropriation case.
Mr. Chandrasekhar, along with two other former colleagues, had been booked for forging documents and making off with a plasma TV, a home theatre system and other electronic goods that had been impounded at the Kochi International Airport in 2008-09.
