Kolkata: Prayag Aviation, a business unit of Prayag Group, on Saturday introduced heli-charter services in Bengal.
With an investment of Rs 100 crore, Prayag Aviation will now offer HNI's, corporates and other institutions charter services across locations in Bengal. Prayag Aviation's will kick-start their operations with a new black Bell 407 helicopter with a capacity of six passengers.
This powerful and sturdy machine powered by a Rolls-Royce 250-C47B engine and a maximum air speed of 140 knots will be operating at an altitude limit of 20,000 feet.
Starting from the Behala Flying Club/Dum Dum Airport, charter services will cost approximately Rs 90,000 an hour.
