Mysore:The travelers' wish for operation of morning and evening flights is inching closer to reality.
A private carrier has applied with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) seeking permission for operation of flights during morning and evening hours out. What's more, Mysore MP Adagooru H Vishwanath is rooting for increased air connectivity to tap into tourism potential in the region. He said he will meet the Union civil aviation Ajit Singh and press for increased connectivity to Mysore.
Spicejet is starting direct flight service on January 14. It is a welcome step towards increasing air connectivity to Mysore, he told reporters during a visit to Mysore Airport at Mandakalli. "What we need now is additional flights so that region's economical activities get a booster dose," he stated.
