A chartered flight from Phuket to Kyrgyzstan, which was scheduled to land in Lahore for refuelling, made an emergency landing at Jaipur airport on Wednesday morning. The pilot of the Turkey-based plane sought emergency landing due to dense fog at Lahore. The flight later took off after refuelling and 4 hours of halt.
According to sources of Airports Authority of India (AAI), Jaipur, the Turkish plane from Phuket in Thailand to Kyrgyzstan landed at Jaipur around 9 am. Since it was a chartered flight, it had every facility for all the 186 passengers who remained onboard during re-fuelling.
