Work begins on airport's ISO 27000 plan


Nagpur: The phase II of the preparations for making Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, an ISO 27000 certified one began on Thursday. An Ahmedabad based external consultant, Satisfaction Unlimited, has been appointed for this, informed Shafique Shah, officer on special duty and IT coordinator, Airport Authority of India ( AAI).
"The second phase consists of documentation process for making the manuals required for making the airport ISO 27000 compliant. On Thursday, the first level of phase II was almost complete. The draft of the holistic manual, Information Security Management Manual (ISMM) is almost complete. Over the next two days the departmental manuals with detailed instructions for relevant departments will be completed," Shah said.
