Aero India 2013: It’s a bird, it’s a plane. It’s super show!

The metal birds that will enthrall aviation buffs during the Aero India 2013 were out on the Bangalore skies for the first time on Saturday. A host of aircraft that will participate in Asia’s biggest air show, scheduled to be held between February 6 and 10, at the Air Force Station Yelahanka commenced their rehearsals.
The Sukhoi 30 Mki, Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) and Rudra, the weaponised Advance Light Helicopter (ALH), was among the first to be sighted. Manufactured by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, two Rudras will be handed over to the Indian Army during the Aero India.
Also practising was the helicopter display team of the Indian Air Forces, Sarang. The Sarang team will be the only desi aerobatic team to participate in this year’s Aero India.
