Hyderabad: A Delhi-bound Air India flight (AI-430) from Chennai today made an unscheduled landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad here after a passenger complained of health problems, an airline official said.
However, the passenger later died during treatment at a hospital near the airport, where he was rushed to, the official added.
"Tuteja Jaspal, aged around 50 years, complained of uneasiness after which the on-board doctor attended to him and gave primary treatment. The cabin crew informed about it to the captain of the flight, who decided to land the plane at 11.56 am," a spokesperson of the national carrier said.
