Air India suspends two cabin crew staff


New Delhi: The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Wednesday said two airline attendants of national carrier Air India have been suspended following instructions from Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh, on ground of dereliction of duty.
 The minister said that his ministry will have zero tolerance for any such acts which adversely affect the performance of the airlines.
"Both the cabin crew have been placed under suspension for non reporting/ delayed reporting on 28th January for the Delhi- Hyderabad flight No AI-126.This caused the flight delayed by 40 minutes, causing inconvenience to the passengers," said the ministry.
