2 deers caught at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport

Nagpur:  Two deers were caught at the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport during the combing exercise which is being undertaken by MIHAN India Limited (MIL) with the help of the forest department.
The continuous sighting of deer in the vast area of the airport had prodded MIL to undertake this exercise. While it started the process a few days back, the forest department joined the effort on Friday.
On the first day of joint combing, four domestic pigs were caught by the team but no deer could be trapped. "We sighted the deer three-four times during combing but couldn't catch it. Now, by the looks of it, it seems that there are 3-4 deer in the area," said an MIL official.
