Air India aircraft bump parked plane at, JFK, NY


New York: Authorities are investigating how a taxiing passenger jet bumped a parked Jet Blue plane at John F. Kennedy Airport on Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for Jet Blue says an Air India aircraft hit a parked plane at JFK Airport just before 6:00 a.m.
The Air India aircraft was taxiing to the terminal. Jet Blue Flight 145 was parked at the gate, preparing for departure.
All 150 passengers from the Jet Blue aircraft bound for West Palm Beach, Florida were removed from the Jet Blue Aircraft and transferred to another plane.
According to the Jet Blue spokesperson, their aircraft sustained damage to the rear rudder. The Air India jet incurred damage to the aircraft's left wing tip.
