New Delhi: Minister of State for Civil Aviation K. C. Venugopal on Thursday informed the Rajya Sabha that a committee had been set up to suggest measures to lower the high cost of Air India`s operations and improve utilization of resources in line with best global practices. "The Government had constituted a Committee headed by Prof. Ravindra H. Dholakia, IIM, Ahmedabad on 04.01.2013 to recommend various cost cutting measures which may be required to be undertaken to ensure best and optimal utilization of various resources, including human resource available with Air India," Venugopal said.
