Infant dies despite emergency landing by Indigo flight


Nagpur:  An infant travelling with parents on a Bangalore-Lucknow Indigo flight died on Monday evening despite the aircraft making an emergency landing at Nagpur to seek medical attention.
The Bangalore-Lucknow Indigo flight 163 was diverted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport at Nagpur on Monday evening due to a medical emergency. An infant aboard had developed breathing problems on way to Lucknow. The flight landed at 5.35pm and the child was attended to by doctors from Hope Hospital at the airport and then referred to Child Hospital.
