Passengers create ruckus at Amausi on unscheduled flight


Lucknow:  Nearly a dozen Delhi-bound passengers were left in lurch at Amausi airport after they could not find the flight in which they were supposed to travel. The passengers were carrying ticket of an Air India flight AI-970, which was not scheduled on Saturday morning, and were later adjusted in a Jet airways flight.
According to reports, 13 passengers arrived at the Amausi airport with tickets for a flight which, surprisingly, was not scheduled for the day. Even as some of them created ruckus alleging grave inconvenience, few others entered into a heated argument with the Air India staff. The situation was brought under control only after the passengers were adjusted in a Jet flight.While airport director, SC Hota could not contacted for comments, Air India, terminal manager, Sujit Kumar said that the airline will inquire as to from where the tickets were bought.
