A 27-year-old woman who went missing from Vancouver International Airport was found “safe and sound” Wednesday afternoon, according to Richmond RCMP.
Navjot Kahlon was last seen by her family at the airport on Feb. 26 as they waited to board a flight to India.
She somehow became separated from the group, who “thought she was going to India with them,” Richmond RCMP Cpl. Sherrdean Turley told The Province. “They [went] — but she didn’t.”
Her family reported her missing later that week on March 2.
RCMP were provided little information at the time of her disappearance and have since released few details about locating her due to privacy issues.
