Avoid these 44 cabs at domestic airport

Mumbai: Fed up with a few rogue drivers sullying their reputation, the taxi unions in the city have approached the state transport commissioner and police, demanding action against 44 drivers, who reportedly fleece passengers by tampering with meters.
This list comprises of cabbies working for Cool Cabs (17) as well as black and yellow taxis (26), near the international airport area in Sahar.
Reportedly, these drivers refuse to comply with RTO regulations, derailing the automated process of prepaid cab allotment.“We identified these drivers based on the complaints from passengers and other fellow drivers. These drivers do not allow a transparent passenger-friendly system to develop,” said A L Quadros, general secretary of Mumbai Taximen’s Union.
