‘Curfewed Night’ author stopped at Sgr Airport

Srinagar: Kashmiri journalist, political commentator and author of ‘Curfewed Night’ Basharat Peer was stopped at Srinagar Airport by Police on Monday after a paramilitary BSF official complained to the authorities that Peer had taken some photographs in mid air, a local news agency CNS said.
Basharat Peer while traveling from Delhi to Srinagar had clicked a couple of photographs of the fascinating clouds somewhere between Jammu and Banihal.
A co-passenger, who identified himself as a cop objected to it saying it compromises ‘national security’.
