A Cessna 152 VT-EUK plane of the Nagpur Flying Club (NFC) skidded off the runway on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred when trainee pilot AnkurKhare was attempting to land during the take off-landing practice session.
"The trainee pilot has finished 233 hours of flying and is on the verge of finishing his commercial pilot licence (CPL). It should be remembered that he is still in the learning process and landing and take-off is a very complicated process where decisions are very complex and quick," said chief flying inspector (CPI) captain SMA Salam.
