Karipur: The Customs Intelligence wing of the Calicut International Airport seized four kilograms of gold worth `1.12 crore from a passenger who arrived in a Sharjah flight on Wednesday.
However, the officials refused to divulge more details about the passenger, who hails from Koyilandy. According to the officials,
four gold bars were kept inside a separate box attached to a television set, and at first sight, it would look like a part of the TV.
