Mumbai: International passengers travelling on Jet Airways flight to India can now connect to their domestic flights directly avoiding the hassle of boarding buses and crossing terminals to catch a domestic flight, the airline said.
The airport operators at Mumbai have assigned gate numbers 4 and 5 in the security hold area for incoming passengers from where they can avail transfer facility to the domestic terminal. Jet said that the security hold area will be open from three to seven in the morning for the comfort of the passengers so that travelers traveling during these hours can avail the direct transfer facility.
"Incoming passengers connecting to domestic flights are required to clear Immigration and Customs formalities,collect their bags from the conveyer belts and have them screened. Once completed, guests may proceed to the domestic transfer check-in counter to drop their bags, proceed to the security hold area in Terminal 2C, complete their security checks and board their respective flights," Jet said in a communication.
