KFA staff approach Labour Department

Bangalore: The city-based employees of the beleaguered Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) met the senior officials of the Labour Department over non-payment of their salaries on Monday.
The employees also discussed the future course of action as they have not been paid salaries for over eight months now. The airlines had made several assurances to its staff but had failed to keep them.
Sources told Express that company representatives had met the senior officials in Labour Department. However, the company did not confirm it.
Meanwhile, the employees of the airlines will hold a protest on Thursday while those in other centres have planned to follow suit.
