Hyderabad: Things seem to be going from bad to worse at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, as far as the conduct of customs officials is concerned. Eight customs officials are in the dock after they beat up a passenger coming from Muscat and snatched a gold chain from him.
The matter came to light when a city resident, P Narasaiah, lodged a complaint with the Airport Police. He told them that after he landed from Muscat he was detained by the customs officials who demanded a bribe.
