Kolkata: A glass panel near boarding Gate No. 59 crumbled at the new airport terminal on Monday morning. No one was injured as the area was empty around the time. Airport authorities have decided to install fiberglass canopies over the boarding gates and airport entrances to minimize chances of injury from glass breakage. Till now, more than 100 glasses have shattered in the terminal with the number inching close to a dozen since the terminal became operational in March.
