Man held at RGIA for tampering with passport

Hyderabad: RGI Airport police arrested a 47-year-old man from Vijayawada who arrived here from Hong Kong with a tampered passport.
Police arrested Mohammed Nayeem, a private employee from Vijayawada. In 2003, he went to London on a tourist visa and overstayed there. He finally came to India in 2009 and for overstaying UK authorities put a a 'red stamp' on his passport.
On May 15, Nayeem went to Hong Kong from Hyderabad using the same passport with an intention to secure a UK visa from there.
